KITSAP COUNTY BOWLING ASSOCIATION ALL STAR SELECTION CRITERIA

1. THE CUT OFF DATE FOR ALL AVERAGES AND SCORES USED FOR DETERMINATION OF ALL STAR SELECTIONS WILL BE MARCH 15TH.

2. BOWLERS MUST BOWL "ALL EVENTS" THAT IS DOUBLES & SINGLES AND TEAM EVENT AT LEAST ONCE IN THE KITSAP COUNTY BOWLING ASSOCIATION ANNUAL CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR SELECTION TO THE KITSAP COUNTY ALL STAR TEAM.

3. Averages used for determination will be based on a MINIMUM of 60 games in each league bowled as of MARCH 15th. These averages are to be reported by the secretaries of each league in the 4 county bowling establishments (Hi-Joy Bowl, All Star Lanes, Olympic Lanes(Bangor),and The Strike Zone (PSNS). Your 2 highest averages (if you bowl 2 or more leagues) will be used for determining points. If you bowl in only one league that average will be used.

Points will be awarded as follows:

1 point for each pin above a 200 average. (For example, 220 average = 20 points, 220 ave. + 210 ave. = 30 points)

5 bonus points if 2 highest averages are from different houses in the county.

(For example, 220 at Hi Joy, 210 at Bay Bowl = 30 points + 5 bonus points = 35 points)

1 bonus point for each league over 2 that meet the 60 game minimum requirement.

(For example, you bowl in 4 leagues and have at least 60 games as of March 15TH in 3 of those leagues, you would receive 1 bonus point, if all 4 leagues have at least 60 games, then 2 bonus points will be awarded).

4. Honor score points will be awarded as follows:

2 points for each 300 game bowled in any of the 5 county houses during sanctioned league play.

1 point for each 298, 299 or 11-IN-A-ROW bowled in any of the 5 county houses during sanctioned league play.

5 points for each 800 series bowled in any of the 5 county houses during sanctioned league play.

NOTE: HONOR SCORE POINTS ARE DOUBLED IF BOWLED DURING ABC SANCTIONED TOURNAMENT PLAY IN ANY OF THE 5 KITSAP COUNTY HOUSES. 

5. Points for participation in the will be awarded as follows:

KCBA ANNUAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

1 point for each event entered (Team, Doubles & Singles).

(For example, if you bowl Team twice and Doubles & Singles, then 4points will be awarded).

For '' All Events Scratch'', points will be awarded to the top 15 places as follows:

5 points for places 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

4 points for places 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th.

3 points for places 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th.

2 points for places 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th.

KITSAP COUNTY MIXED TOUNAMENT.

2 points for entering and bowling.

Note: It is the responsibility of the League and Tournament secetaries to turn in all eligible scores to the Kitsap County Bowling Association Secretary (Earle Sears), but it is also the responsibility of the bowlers themselves to ensure their accomplishments are recognized.
